Do you take medi-cal/ Partnership?

Yes. I am a Medi-Cal Partnership doula. I also accept 16 other various insurance carriers. If you are not entitled doula benefits through your insurance I take private pay clients offering a sliding scale.

what if i want pain management options?

Great- lets discuss your options for pain management and find what sounds best for you from water, TENS Units, nitrous oxide to epidural I support you and stand by you.

What kind of births have you attended?

I have attended an array of births ranging from VBAC, advanced maternal age, IVF babies, cesareans, unmedicated and more.

Do you replace my partner?

No. I do not replace partners or spouses- quite the opposite. I am not only your support person, but I also work to help equip and guide your partner on how to best support you in birthing positions and more.

have you supported unmedicated births?

Yes, I have supported unmedicated births and am familiar with a wide range of coping mechanisms.

what exactly do doulas do?

I work one on one with my clients to ensure they have up to date evidence-based research, community resource referrals, create a birth plan, provide unlimited in person labor support and in-home postpartum care ranging from breastfeeding support to meal preparation and more.
