Social & emotional support is crucial during life's rights of passages.
Advocacy & consent is at the root of respect and autonomy.

Birth & Postpartum Doula
As a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Kelsey feels honored to be able to share her expertise with women and families throughout Humboldt County. She approaches birth & postpartum holistically. Mental, emotional and physical support during labor is her specialty. Her role is also to act as a support person to help the birthing woman advocate for herself.
As a birth doula regardless of your intended birth setting, whether it be hospital, birth center or home and regardless of your desire for or abstaining from medication throughout your birth process, Kelsey stands by her clients in their wishes and desires.
Through postpartum doula support Kelsey provide additional wrap around care where many times our sense of village & community simply falls through the cracks. She essentially steps in to help facilitate the daily tasks to foster space for you and your partner to bond with baby.
Kelsey is also a trained facilitator of A Mothers Village a local weekly mother's circle in Eureka. She is also a co-founder of the Humboldt Birth Collective. Contact Kelsey to find out more.
